Both Jadeite and Nephrite have the similar healing capability especially its beneficial effect on the kidney helping in the detoxification.  Jade was also known as “lapis nephriticus” as it was seen as a protection against and cure for kidney diseases. Besides this, Jade helps in fertility and childbirth, balancing the body fluid and water-salt/acid-alkaline ratios and healing stitches.
